Court reinstates Dausi as DPP spokesperson

The High Court in Lilongwe has stopped the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) from firing Mwanza Central Constituency Member of Parliament from his post as the party spokesperson.

The development means Dausi who was expelled from the party and his position will now continue serving on the said post.

Justice Mandala Mambulasa granted the injunction today, according to the court documents.

The Judge has since called for interparty hearing on the matter in a date to be announced.

Effort to talk to DPP spokesperson Shadreck Namalomba has proved futile.
