Solomon Airlines has announced a great opportunity for passengers to become part of the exciting and historic opening of the SBD$60 million Munda International Airport Terminal.
The airline will operate a special, one-off, one-way Airbus A320 flight from Honiara to Munda and on to Brisbane on Tuesday 10 October 2023 to coincide with the official opening of the terminal.
Passengers onboard will experience the Munda International Airport opening festivities including a special welcome ceremony on arrival. International passengers will then re-board in Munda after clearing immigration for travel onwards to Brisbane.
Flight IE716 will depart Honiara at 9.00am, arriving in Munda at 9:50am, then departing Munda at 11:05am to arrive in Brisbane at 1:20pm same day.
To celebrate the occasion, Solomon Airlines is offering seats on the flight at savings of up to 49% on a first come first serve basis, until 4pm on 3 October 2023, or unless sold out prior. Special conditions apply.
