Three people were killed and four were seriously injured in a shooting at Copenhagen Mall

Although the identities of the murdered people have not been revealed, authorities say they are two 17-year-old Danes, one man and one woman, and A Danish man, police inspector Soren Thomassen, who said he was a 47-year-old Russian, said at a press conference on Monday.

The four seriously injured are two Danes, a 40-year-old woman and a 19-year-old woman, and two Swedes, a 50-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl. Officials said.

Police officers have conducted overnight raids at multiple addresses to collect evidence of the crime and see if the suspect is working alone, Thomassen said. However, he added that there was nothing to suggest that he was working with others.

The unidentified suspect had a rifle and ammunition when he was arrested. Thomassen said he didn't have a criminal record.

"I'm sure the arrested suspect was a shooter at the mall," he said.

So far, there is no indication that this was a terrorist attack, Thomassen added. He said the suspect had no relationship or connection with the victim.

The police chief also confirmed that the subject had a known mental health condition.

Thomassen added that videos posted on social media, including YouTube, show that the suspect has a rifle. He said these would be part of a police investigation.

The rifle allegedly used by the suspect was legal in Denmark, but police said he did not have that license.

In a statement, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen expressed sympathy for those affected by the shooting and called for the Danes to stand with them.

"Denmark was hit by a cruel attack on Sunday night," she said. "We were all brutally torn from the bright summer just beginning. I don't know. It's sad. It doesn't make sense."
