Two planes collided at a California airport, killing three people, officials said Friday.

Both the pilot and passenger of the Cessna 340 were killed. Their identities were not immediately revealed.
The dog in the Cessna 340 also died, Salazar said.
No injuries reported on the ground, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
However, a Cessna 340 crashed into the hangar, damaging the plane inside the building and causing a post-crash fire, he said, the FAA.
There were no air traffic control towers in the area, according to authorities.
The FAA and NTSB will investigate the incident.
Watsonville Municipal Airport is located approximately 45 miles south of San Jose.
