Mountain Home, Idaho — Alaska Air Force ROTC cadet dies Aidaho In an accident involving Hanby during training in the state, Mountain Home Air Force Base said on Sunday.
Oregon State University cadet Mackenzie Wilson, 19, died after being injured in an accident on Friday. She was from the Eagle River in Alaska, officials said.
At the time of the accident, 19 Air Force ROTC cadets were attending a training opportunity at an Air Force base southeast of Boise. Two cadets were treated for injuries at Boise's hospital and later released.
The fatal accident is being investigated by the Idaho Police Department and the Air Force Special Investigation Bureau.
Other cadets were provided with support services and were given the option to return home.
