An $88 naked vegan dinner party is NYC’s most exclusive reservation

Call it a fries wide shut party.

Earlier this month, an artist and model hosted an entirely naked and pricey, plant-based dinner on the Lower East Side where guests can’t even wear as much as a cooking apron.

Throughout the recent evening in NYC — one with a menstruation theme — some guests even discussed finger painting with their own menstrual blood.

The Füde Dinner Experience — billed by the New York Times as “a naked vegan dinner party with a bunch of strangers” — is operated by Charlie Ann Max, who charges $88 for ravenous patrons to strip down for super in “a liberating space that celebrates our most pure selves, through plant-based cooking, art, nudity, & self-love.”

Initially, these nude food nights were invite only, but Max has since expanded to thoroughly review applications to join in the full frontal festivities — many who have heard about the dinner from social media and word of mouth, according to the Times.

Most tasteful applicants are approved, sparing “some creepy dude that found my Instagram somehow,” Max said, who also hosts parties in LA.

“It felt so good to be like, whatever, I’m hanging out with my best friends, in my rawest form with my body, and this is not as scary or weird as I would expect,” Max recalled of first stripping down with her Brooklyn roommates in 2014 — an inspiration for the most recent endeavors.

“It just felt so free.”

Prior to shedding, guests who primarily are in their early 20s to late 50s — and commonly show up alone — come in all sorts of outfits like swanky dresses or simple sweatpants and make small talk about things like the weather while introducing themselves.

In NYC, Max’s yet to be profitable — but sold out — service most recently had the theme of: “Embracing Your Inner Rhythms: for Individuals to Connect with their Menstrual Cycles.”

“After an hour of mindful movement and breath work, the women squeezed around a dining table covered in silk, dried flowers and butt-shaped water glasses and discussed their periods,” according to the Times, which added that one attendee had been menstruating during the evening.

Two others had a conversation about finger painting with their menstrual blood as well, according to the outlet.

“I think nudity allows us to connect in a different way,” said guest Stephanie Uribe, 35, about the event overall. “To strip away what the patriarchy has put on us. Like, uber-sexuality or hyper-sexuality.”

When it comes to the actual eats, Max in addition to her assistant Maya, put out the vegan spread together.

Carrot and ginger soup, quinoa-stuffed bell peppers and cacao raspberry avocado mousse were all served.

The evening was reportedly so steamy that guests had to fan themselves with their menus.
