Another giant African Snail sighting forced Florida County into quarantine

Snails are mobile — experts "cling to vehicles and machines" to "move long distances" "Warns the trash" —and is elastic, "inactive" and survives for a year, buried in the soil to protect itself from bad weather. Live snails were last discovered in the area in 2017, prior to the latest sightings last week, officials said.
