Apple to release iPhone 14 on September 7: Bloomberg

Bloomberg says Apple will unveil latest iPhone line at online streaming event on September 7.

The tech giant typically introduces new devices with flashy presentations from the company's headquarters in Cupertino, California. Apple released the iPhone 13 last September, which featured his faster A15 Bionic processor, improved cameras and a smaller front face. It had a sensor notch. It also brought 5G cellular service to more Americans.

Pricing details for the smartphone have yet to be announced. Apple did not respond to a request for comment. 

The iPhone 14 will likely cost another $100 more than the iPhone 13. This is because the materials used to make the devices are becoming more expensive, Wedbush Securities' Dan Ives said in a research note.

Ming-Chi, Technology Analyst, TF International Securities, Hong Kong Kuo predicted . The new iPhone will be 15% more expensive than the iPhone 13.

Rumors say  The biggest change coming to the iPhone 14 is the camera system. Bloomberg says the phones will also have better video recording capabilities and longer battery life. 

"From a spec standpoint, the iPhone 14 features enhanced camera technology (48 megapixels), but the iPhone 14 Pro model also features the revolutionary A16 chip. I think it's because more consumers are turning to the Pro path," Ives said. "Both the base iPhone 14/Pro may also get a boost in storage." 

It's unclear exactly when the iPhone 14 will launch. According to CNET, some of his Apple employees were told by company leaders that he should expect the release ofon September 16th. Apple will also roll out new Mac computers, iPads and watches. 

Apple's shares were flat at $174 a share in Thursday afternoon trading.
