Atlanta subway worker shot dead for putting too much mayonnaise in a sandwich

An Atlanta subway worker was shot dead and another worker was injured after an angry customer fired after putting too much mayonnaise in a sandwich. Said the police.

The shooting erupted at a gas station subway in downtown Atlanta around 6:30 pm. Police said Sunday after a disgruntled customer got angry with the order.

Store owner Willy Glen toldFOX5that Mayo was due to a deadly debate.

"Believe it or not, there was too much mayonnaise in the sandwich," Glenn said. "He decided to escalate the situation, from which all the hell was unleashed."

The manager on duty was able to return the fire, but did not attack the shooter. , Glenn added.

Police said they were still searching for the suspect and were tracking the suspect by checking the surveillance footage.

The victim's name was not disclosed, Glenn said. They were model employees who had been in the job for less than a month.

"I don't know what our young people bring to the world, they seem very crazy," said the shopkeeper.

"Everyone wants to carry a gun. Everyone wants to scare someone with a gun. I'm scared here."
