Attempted Murder Suspect Flees Bronx NYPD Station

An attempted murder suspect fled the Bronx NYPD station Monday after pushing a detective, police and police sources said. 

The 23-year-old deserter - identified by police sources as Edvard Leysen - is located at Mott's 40th Street on Alexander's Avenue near East 138th Street in Haven. Pushed away the detective who was processing him at the district station building. 1:30 p.m., officials said. 

Footage obtained by The Post shows him uncuffed and running out of the precinct, followed by detectives.
