Chicago Bears and Seattle Seahawks in NFL preseason action Showdown Thursday. Seattle lost to the Steelers and Chicago lost to the Chiefs in the preseason opener.
The question in Seattle is who to replace Russell Wilson as his starting quarterback for the 2022 season. The battle between Jenno Smith and Drew Lock heated up after the preseason opener. Smith went 10-for-15 for 101 yards and Rock went 11-of-15 for 102 yards and he scored two touchdowns. However, The Rock tested positive for his COVID-19 and won't play Thursday, so he moved the line from -5 to -3.5 in Seattle shortly after the news broke.

Justin Fields has been locked in as the Bears' starter. He didn't play long in the season opener, and for 48 yards he completed 4 of 7 passes. Chicago has his two veterans behind Fields. Trevor Simian and Nathan Peterman.
Loss of Rock means Smith could play most of the first half means high. With his only two healthy quarterbacks on the Seahawks roster, backup Jacob should look for a Seattle starter who will record a lot of minutes in his first two quarters before Eason takes over. .

I was going to endorse Seattle before the Rock news came out, and I still do. Smith has a chance to distance himself from The Rock, and I think Seattle will cover short numbers at home based on his offensive performance last week (25 points, 339 yards).
