Ben Simmons said Thursday, "I feel great." I'm still not sure if that feeling will apply tonight. A few hours before
Kevin Durantdemanded a deal on the netwith an NBA bomb, Simmons dressed himself in front of a locker wearing Brooklyn gear. The photo has been posted.
"Incredible mood," said the 25-year-old captioned a post he shared on his Instagram story.
Simmons, traded online by the 76ers on the February deadline, underwent a back surgery in May after missing the entire 2021-22 season. Sources close to his three-time NBA All-Starconfirmed in a postin June that he had begun the rehab phase and was ready for a training camp.
The next season will be an important season for Simmons, but it's still unclear who will be part of his support cast. After Durant left Brooklyn three years later, Nets sent a first round pick fromto Jazz For Royce O'Neal.
Meanwhile, Kyrie Irvingchose the final year of his contract with Nets, despite a standoff with the team earlier this month. It is suspected that Irving will be the next door if Durant is traded.
Brooklyn was attacked by Boston in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, and the Celtics eventually advanced to this year's final against the Golden State. The Warriors continued to win the title.
