Carrie Underwood blocked Billy Eichner on Twitter last year — but he’s far from upset about it.
The “Billy on the Street” star reflected on the “great honor” during a “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” appearance on Tuesday.
“There was this thing where she, like, during the height of COVID, she showed support for a speech by some Republican guy [Matt Walsh] saying that kids shouldn’t have to wear masks in schools,” Eichner explained.
The comedian, 44, explained that the country singer, 39, letting her “political views be known for the first time” led him to make “some jokes about it that went viral on Twitter.”
Eichner added that Underwood apparently “didn’t like that,” referring to her ensuing block as “one of the great thrills of [his] life.”
The “Bros” star called attention to the “American Idol” Season 4 winner’s social media diss at the time, tweeting a screenshot of the notification with the caption, “ICONIC.”
Eichner isn’t the only celebrity to have criticized Underwood’s conservative views.
After the Grammy winner’s husband, Mike Fisher, voiced his support for NFL player Aaron Rodgers’ and Underwood “liked” his post, fellow country superstar Luke Bryan appeared to poke fun at her.
“It is so great to be here with all my fellow artists — tested and together. Or immunized? Who is it?” Bryan, 46, said on stage while hosting the 2021 CMAs before clarifying that he was “just playing.”

The camera then cut to Underwood, who made headlines for the way she side-eyed the “American Idol” judge after his joke.
The “Before He Cheats” singer shares two children with Fisher, whom she wed in 2010.
She and the former professional ice hockey player, 42, welcomed sons Isaiah, 7, and Jacob, 3, in 2015 and 2019, respectively.
