A woman who wanted to kill a cyclist was arrested

Armstrong was found earlier this week at a hostel in Santa Teresa Beach, Puntarenas, Costa Rica, US Marshal Services said in a statement

statement. Armstrong was expected to be returned to the United States, but officials said she was accused of murder for Anna Moria Wilson's death. Wilson from Vermont, a competitive gravel and mountain bike racer known as the "Mo", was in Austin, Texas for a cycling event. 

Wilson was found in Austin's house on May 11th after being injured by a bullet on. The officer who responded performed a CPR, but she died on the scene. At the age of 25, she was in Austin for a cycling race — she was from Vermont.

Six days after her death, authorities issued a letter to Armstrong and accused her of Wilson's murder.

Authorities said Armstrong had sold her car on May 13 and flew from Austin to Houston shortly after being questioned by authorities about Wilson's death that day. She then flew to New York and then on May 18 using her fraudulent passport from Newark, New Jersey to San Jose, Costa Rica.

"Marshall Services has raised Caitlin Armstrong's investigation to the status of a major case early in this investigation, which plays an important role in her capture after 43 days of execution. "Maybe we've done that," said the US Marshal in the Western Texas region. Susan Pamellow.

Wilson was previously dating Armstrong's boyfriend, cyclist Colin Strickland. He is working with investigators and is not a suspect, Afidabit said. Armstrong's SUV was seen in a surveillance video outside the house where Wilson was found to have been shot dead.
