Brian Daboll raved about the steak but kept private the dinner conversation between members of the Giants and wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
The Giants’ two-day free-agent visit with Beckham kicked off Thursday night with a fancy dinner and continued into Friday. After undergoing a physical with team doctors, Beckham was scheduled to return to the team facility for more formal meetings, Daboll confirmed.
“We had a good visit,” the head coach said. “Other than that, I have nothing else to add. I’m focusing on [a game against] Washington.”
Pressed further by reporters before practice, Daboll would not confirm whether the door still was open for Beckham to join the Giants.
“All my time is on Washington,” Daboll said, when asked about splitting his week between preparing for Sunday’s game rich with playoff implications and recruiting the superstar receiver. “I just got a free meal.”
Beckham is scheduled to leave East Rutherford later Friday to head to Buffalo for a similar courtship from the Bills. His three-leg tour ends Monday at the Dallas Cowboys.
Because he is not working out for the Giants, as previously reported by The Post, Beckham’s timeline for returning to the field in 2022 remains unclear.
