A Southern California dermatologist was arrested last week on suspicion of poisoning her husband, police said.
Mission Yue Yu, who has offices in Viejo, was arrested Thursday after Irvine police issued a search warrant for the couple's home.
Investigators say Yu's husband provided "video evidence" to support his belief that she was to blame for being sick for a month.Los Angeles The Times reported.
The unidentified husband "suffered serious internal injuries" but is expected to recover, police said.
Yu, 45, is affiliated with her Mission Hospital in Providence and issued a statement referring to her arrest, saying that officials are cooperating with authorities.
"We want to reassure the community that the incident was a domestic issue that occurred in Irvine and that no patient was affected," a hospital official said. The biography was apparently removed from the hospital's website on Sunday.
Yu, whose bail had been set at $30,000, was released from her custody late Friday after posting her bail, according to online records. Details of her allegations were not available on Sunday, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Her Yu, who attended Washington University Medical School in St. Louis, is due to appear in court on Monday. It's unclear if she has hired a lawyer who can comment on her behalf.
Yu and her husband have been married for ten years. It is unclear how she poisoned him,CBS Los Angeles reported.
