Cannes Lions Festival confused by Greenpeace in fossil fuel protests

Greenpeace French activist and former Cannes Lions Award winner Gustav Martner gave a remarkable demonstration at the opening ceremony of the festival on Monday.

In protest of the frequent use of fossil fuels in the industry, he dramatically interrupted the opening ceremony and returned the prizes he had previously won at the event.

When he went up to the stage, he spread a banner saying "There are no prizes for dead planets, ban Fossil Ads!".
