A buyer can purchase a “reel” piece of history in this Connecticut home — specifically, one directly from a star’s parents.
The Greenwich home where actor Néstor Carbonell, who played Richard Alpert on the hit ABC TV series “Lost,” grew up is looking for a new owner. The property asks $4.4 million with Houlihan Lawrence’s Ellen Mosher and Beba Errichetti.
The 6,352-square-foot compound is quite the spread to spend one’s youth in. The five-bedroom stone and shingle manse is set on 2 acres and boasts a heated pool, a spa, a koi pond and “secret fairy garden,” according to the listing. Inside, there’s a white-marbled grand entrance, a double-height kitchen with both a central island and a breakfast area, plus a fireplace-equipped family room
An all-glass sunroom off the family room was custom-built and there’s also a three-car garage.
The primary suite is located on the main level and has a sitting area, a dressing room and two bathrooms.

Carbonell was also in “The Dark Knight” — and moved to the Greenwich property from London when he was a teenager, he told Realtor.
“It is such a special home. I am most blessed to have great parents and living in Greenwich was amazing,” said the actor, who’s now 54.
It looks significantly different today than it did when he was a kid, though, as his parents undertook a “massive renovation” after he and his siblings moved out. This included the addition of the sunroom and the theater, which his parents used as something of a shrine to their famous son.
“My mom has lined the walls with posters of movies and shows that are an ode to my career,” Carbonell said with a laugh. “My brother and sister give me a lot of flak for it — and deservedly so.”
