‘Daisy Jones & The Six’ Star Sebastian Chacon Totally Thinks Warren Could Score a Movie Star

Like every adaptation, Prime Video‘s Daisy Jones & The Six makes some major changes from the book to the screen. The show let Daisy (Riley Keough) and Billy (Sam Claflin) have a drunk, drugged up backstage hookup in the series finale, made Karen (Suki Waterhouse) covet Graham (Will Harrison) only after seeing him with another woman, and imagined a subplot where bassist Eddie (Josh Whitehouse) was the guy a dissatisfied Camila (Camila Morrone) slept with. However there’s one truly awesome romantic subplot from Taylor Jenkins Reid’s bestseller the Amazon show kept and that’s Warren’s (Sebastian Chacon) “unlikely” romance with movie star Lisa Crowne (Lily Donoghue).

In Daisy Jones & The Six Episode 7 “Feels Like The First Time,” the band gets the opportunity to play Saturday Night Live. While most of the plot focuses on Billy helping a mostly sober Daisy overcome her stage fright, Warren is more interested in the episode’s host, hilarious and gorgeous starlet Lisa Crowne. During the show’s afterparty — which looks way more tame than the ones of legend — Warren shoots his shot.

After a polite compliment, he says, “You know a lot of guys are intimidated by funny women.”

“Are they?” Lisa asks.

“Oh yeah, big time. Big time. But, you know, not me. I think it’s pretty hot actually. It’s a real turn on.”

“You know what’s a real turn on for me?” Lisa says. “Drummers in rock bands.”

And that’s how the romance between Warren and Lisa begins…

Just as in the book, rock star Warren and movie star Lisa manage to have a happily ever after. They’ve got kids together and Warren even cheekily adds (in both the show and book) that Lisa sometimes lets him sign her breasts when she’s feeling sorry for him.

Decider asked Daisy Jones & The Six star Sebastian Chacon what it says to him about the character of Warren that he nabs his movie star wife in both versions of the story.

“I don’t know. There’s a lot of lines in the book, and in the show everyone’s like, ‘Oh, when Warren was able to seal the deal [with Lisa Crowne], we knew we were really famous,'” Chacon said.

“I think Warren’s a great dude. I think that anyone would be so lucky to have such a shining, happy, wonderful individual such as Warren in their lives. I think that that’s a totally valid couple right there. You know what I’m saying?”

We do! Especially since the Daisy Jones & The Six finale adds a scene where Warren undresses the disgruntled Eddie by pointing out he’s more than happy to enjoy and appreciate the lucky breaks they have in life.
