Dangerous heat in the United States will continue as storms hit the Mid-Atlantic plains

Suppressive and dangerous heat is set to continue in most parts of the United States as it continues to be hotter, sultry, and hazy. 

Heat recommendations were issued from northern Texas to parts of southern Illinois and southern Indiana, and to Carolina to the east. 

The most popular cities include Kansas City, St. Louis, Louisville and Memphis. 

Temperatures range from the 90's to the low 100's, but when combined with high humidity values, they feel even more uncomfortable.

The heat index soars to 110-115 degrees. 

Overnight lows only fall in the 1980s, but the rest of the humidity is barely mitigated.
