Aaron Judge finally did it — and the sports world rejoiced.
The Yankees slugger connected on home run No. 62 in his first at-bat in the second game of the Yankees’ doubleheader against the Rangers to break Roger Maris’ franchise and AL mark of a single season. Judge’s feat sent the sports world into a frenzy to congratulate the 30-year, including Yankees legends Derek Jeter and CC Sabathia.
