Things always get a little wild when Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent appear on The Drew Barrymore Show! The last time the HGTV design couple stopped by the show they were greeted (and freaked out) by Drew Barrymore‘s pet bearded dragon — and on this wonderful Monday morning, the actress-turned-talk show host suggested that the three of them join forces and become a throuple.

The odd proposition was made while Berkus and Brent, who have been married since 2014 and now share two children, were promoting the second season of their HGTV show The Nate & Jeremiah Home Project, where they help their clients renovate their properties into their dream homes.

“I’ve always had a dream to work with someone that I was in a relationship with,” Barrymore admitted to the duo, to which Brent joked, “I’ll do it with you.”

The 50 First Dates star was unsurprisingly all-in as she pointed out, “Throuples are trending and you know I want in with you guys! Don’t tease me!”

When Brent said that he would take “such good care” of Barrymore, she slowly melted into her seat before kicking her legs up á la Rockette and excitedly asking, “Do you know the spaces we could create?”

Meanwhile, Berkus seemed slightly uncomfortable by the idea as he quipped, “I don’t even think there’s room [for me].”

But Barrymore wasn’t going to let him off that easy! After telling him, “We need you,” she argued that he would be the “tie-breaker” in parenting, and noted, “We’d have four kids together, this would be so perfect.”

While Brent added, “Think about our family,” Berkus sarcastically warmed up to the idea as he quipped, “Right, some weird E.T. Brady Bunch. I like it.”
