Elon Musk "is playing his part" to grow the population, he said on Twitter last month. Following reports that
millionaires quietly welcomed thetwins,Shivon Zilis, an executive at one of his companies, Neuralink, last November, Mask's past tweet birth rates are undergoing new scrutiny.
Returning to May, he tweeted about the declining birthrate in the United States and how he plays his role in highlighting the numbers.
"The birth rate in the United States has been below the lowest sustainable level for about 50 years," the mogulwrote on May 24,. "The last two years have been demographic disasters."
In addition to the May tweet, on June 16th, he wrote:

He tweeted Thursday after the news of the secret twins was talked about. Lower fertility is the greatest danger civilization has ever faced.

The second tweet states: "I hope we have a big family. Congratulations to those who have already done so!" Alluding to the news of his growing family.
But Musk hasn't officially said anything about why the twins were kept secret.
