(CNN)The national focus of this Independence Day is barbecue, celebration, and being outdoors.

However, note: Most of the central part of the country has dangerous heat, which can be fatal if not taken seriously.

About 30 million people in more than a dozen states have received heat recommendations. It extends from the South Central to the Mississippi River Valley and to parts of the plain.

Temperatures in the 90's occur in many areas, and theheat index(the "feeling" of temperature when the actual temperature and humidity are combined) is in the three digits. ..

"The combination of high temperature and high humidity brings the heat index closer to the unpleasant 105-110 degrees," the Weather Forecast Center explained.

High-pressure ridges have a good grasp of the area, so high temperatures continue throughout the week.

After all, it's summer, and temperatures are expected to get really hot in many areas, but it's also extreme by summer standards.

"It's summer in the state of nature [Arkansas], but it's fair (and climatologically accurate) to say that temperatures will exceed normal temperatures next week," said the National Weather Service (NWS) in Little Rock. Office is writing.

Little Rock's highest temperatures reach 96 degrees Celsius this afternoon, but when the heat index is taken into account, temperatures approach 105 degrees Celsius.

Even places north of Chicago are expected to feel like 110 degrees by tomorrow as the heat increases.

Heat waves last for most of the week and are barely mitigated at night.

"Another danger to watch out for is the low temperatures at night, which can be as low as in the late 70's and even late 80's, with several nights unrelieved. Because of the sex. "NWS office in Little Rock has been added.

Overnight is the time for our bodies to recover from the heat. Heat stroke can begin when the overnight temperature does not drop enough for our body to recover. To stay calm, and knowing thesigns of heat strokecan save your life.

Independence Day Storm

If you plan to celebrate outdoors, be aware of the weather this afternoon.

There is a risk of bad weather in parts of the northern plains and in the Midwest. There is a slight level 2 risk out of the five in over 23 million people. Locations such as Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and Madison are all included in the realm of serious threats.

"[A] A fairly typical ring of fire, with dangerous heat threats and occasional convection attacks, with risks of stormy weather and heavy rain / flash floods [as in today's forecast]. "[We] cannot rule out rain and storms scattered during tonight's fireworks season," said the Chicago NWS office.

This morning, a group of storms affecting the northern plains will move east throughout today's day, affecting the Midwest and the Great Lakes this afternoon and evening.

The main serious threats are hail and gusts, but the possibility of an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. The storm will continue to chase the east and reach the northeast tomorrow.

As several rounds of the storm affect the northern layers of the country, the second area to monitor the storm will span parts of Montana and the west of Dakotas.

Another concern about the possibility of a storm is the possibility of heavy rain.

Chicago's NWS office has hinted that some storms could start training. This means that they can follow the same route, rain for a long time in the same area, and lead to flash floods.

"The flash flood guidance is quite high due to recent dry conditions, but despite the recent dry weather, there is the possibility of rainfall that can easily reach / exceed the flash flood guidance." Warned the NWS office in Chicago.

The risk of pop-up storms can also occur in the southeast and southwest this afternoon and evening.

So be sure to watch out for the weather while you're outdoors late today, as Mother Nature could host her own fireworks show.
