Gabby Prescod reacts to Ciara Miller, Mya Allen calling her ‘surface-level’

There’s more to her than meets the eye.

After Ciara Miller and Mya Allen dubbed her as “surface-level,” “Summer House” star Gabby Prescod defended her seemingly superficial personality.

Speaking to Page Six exclusively, Prescod explained that her “surface-level” stories are a way to show how she behaves in certain situations and in relationships.

“f I say I went to an all-girls school, it’s not like, ‘Oh, I am privileged in the fact I went to that high school’. It’s like, ‘No, I’m trying to explain to you like how I’ve navigated female relationships my entire life’,” Prescod explained.

On last Monday’s episode, Allen and Miller discussed their new cast member’s involvement in the house dynamic while Prescod helped decorate for her Studio 54-themed bash.

“I just feel like overall, I haven’t cracked the Gabby code yet,” Allen said, to which Miller replied that “a lot of things with her are a little surface-level.”

The two friends — who bonded last summer after having a candid conversation with their co-stars about being a black woman in the Hamptons — suggested that they and Prescod must “have shared experiences being black women.”

“She just seems very privileged which is totally fine, but it’s just like, you’re missing out on the authenticity of it all,” Miller concluded.

The fashion director, 32, also told us that Miller, 27, and Allen, 31, didn’t warn her about their candid conversation before it aired.

“I found out with everyone else in the world that that was said about me, so that was a great feeling,” Prescod told us sarcastically.

“I don’t think that anyone finding out that people are talking about them is a great feeling, but then having that be on TV too, it’s just tough.”

Prescod has yet to address the conversation with either of the ladies, but she specifically mentioned that she hasn’t talked to Miller because they don’t have “that level of relationship.”

“Out of everyone in the house, Ciara and I are probably not the closest, and she is the person that I think that we’ve had the most distance from each other,” Prescod said, adding that she doesn’t “speak that frequently” to Miller.

Meanwhile, Prescod appears to be on closer terms with Allen as she told us they recently got dinner together.

“Summer House” airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
