I got a "free" popsicle and suffered a severe lip burn

It was a story of fire and ice.

Mexico's Tik Tokkker was badly burned when he told a painful story about eating popsicles and trying to cool them. A clip detailing her unorthodox Freezer Burn now boasts over 13.3 million views on TikTok.

"The next morning, I woke up completely swollen," said Maria Cadena, 27, a poor woman from Puebra, at the Freak Freeze Treat at an outdoor festival in Mexico City in May. I told Jam Press about the accident. ..

Due to the hot temperatures, digital marketers bought popsicles to cool down, but ended up sticking their mouths together like "Christmas Story".

"Investigation revealed that ice was attached to the skin due to the temperature shock between the skin and the popsicle," explained Kadena. Participants in the festival said that her sticky accident was unique because she was "the only person who ordered a Taro-flavored lollipop and all my friends ate them without getting stuck". I noticed.

Cadena likely suffered from an ice burn, which occurs after coming into contact with something that's been cold for a very long time.

After Cadena finished the ice pop from thirst, things became snowball and she said her lips were "inflamed" I felt.

In the attached clip, you can see Tik Tokker pointing to her lower lip covered with blister. Cadena also pantomimes a popsicle-biting pantomime and even shares a photo of a frozen treat affixed to her lower lip.

At one point, she points to a still shot of a male seller who allegedly gave her a false frozen treat.

Cardena's father, who's a doctor, was able to alleviate her freezerburn.

After Kadena's friends laughed and joked without noticing her situation, a woman Samaritan who understood her A tequila shot of the unique "frost bite" of each clip.

Unfortunately, the makeshift frozen Margarita only burned her skin even more. The clip concludes with a morning photo of Kadena's lips. The lips swelled to twice the size of the previous one, and a lot of blisters occurred.

Needless to say, Tik Tok sympathized with the unfortunate ice cape of a poor gal.

One fan said it "hurts" and another wrote that "the same thing happened to my sister."

"It happened to me, but on my tongue Caught, they put them in dry ice , which is why it works, it's scary, "explained one commissioner.

One armchair doctor advised, "Bepanten cream is great for relieving skin and pain. I hope it will heal soon." ..

"Today we were able to see how dangerous it is to eat ice popsicles," another commenter said.

Oblivious to her situation, Cadena's friends laughed and made jokes, before an understanding female samaritan stepped into to try and remedy her peculiar "frostbite" with a tequila shot.

Cadena may have suffered from ice burns there is. "When the skin is in direct contact with ice or other very cold for long periods of time,"Healthline reported.

"Ice burns often look like other types of burns, like tans," they write. "You may notice a change in the color of the affected skin. For example, it may appear in bright red and may turn white or yellow-gray."

Cadena's lips swelled to twice the normal size and sprouted blisters.

Thankfully, Cardena's father, a doctor, was able to reduce the burns in the freezer.

"He prescribed me a special cream for burns and told me to keep the area clean, moisturized and eat carefully." The thank-you gal explained.

She wants to use her plight as a warning story to help others avoid suffering from the same ice fate.

"I've seen so many similar cases since this happened to me," Kadena advised. "Be careful when buying popsicles and be careful not to freeze too much."

She said, "If they stick to the palette [or mouth], not alcohol. Use water to separate it. "
