Would you like to have saliva with these french fries?
Restaurant worker Mitchell Todd shared a very "unpleasant" experience working in the food service industry in a recently postedtwo-part TikTok.
Todd — through their / their pronouns – is reportedly instructed by their boss to spit out customer food during their “crazy day at work”. I made it clear that I was there.
In a clip that has been watched over 1.9 million times, Todd was afraid that someone might hear it because of the chaos, so he went to a less populated area on the street. He said he had to talk.
Todd explained that the day started as normal as any other day and was the only server for the staff.
They did a few different jobs until the guys that Todd called "really funny and cute" and "very attractive" came in.
"I'm not overkill, it's frivolous, but I put a little extra sugar in it," they said. "I really [get] the atmosphere that he reacts well to my extra sugar."
Next, Todd takes the man's order and when it's done cooking, the table I brought it to. However, the customer did not eat because of a "strange request".
Demand?
"I was wondering if I could spit on my food. I really really really love it."
Todd was so shocked I thought I couldn't hear the man's voice correctly. "There is no doubt that it was a mistake," Todd said.
But the customer stuck and asked again. Todd told the buyer, "My manager is probably not okay with that, so he'll probably be fired."
Todd's manager "values the customer experience above all else," so the employer told Todd to make it like Nike and "just do it."
"I'm obviously kinky. I don't want to do it," Todd continued in his second video, which was played nearly 600,000 times. ..
"Hey, just do it, it's not a big deal," they claimed the manager said. The customer then revealed that if Todd spilled saliva on his meal, he would tilt Todd "very well." "I walked and felt very uncomfortable," Todd said, eventually spitting on food.
However, the man is said to be dissatisfied with it and told them, "Now spit on my food, just spit."
The customer reportedly made Todd spit on every individual piece of food, leaving behind a $ 100 cash tip.
A restaurant spokeswoman called the two workers and said that the customer left a Yelp review stating, "They spit out your food in response to orders." Is allegedly dismissed after the incident.
