Iran replaces Teb as head of Revolutionary Guard Intelligence Unit-State Television

Iran has dismissed Hossein Taeb, the powerful chief of the Revolutionary Guard's intelligence force. Iran's plans to kill or kidnap Israeli tourists in Turkey.

The station did not indicate the reason for the change, but said Teb was appointed as an adviser to Hossein Salami, the commander-in-chief of the Guard.

He replaces Mohammad Kazemi, formerly the head of the Revolutionary Guard's intelligence protection force.
