Oh, baby.
In a new Instagram post, Alec Baldwin’s daughter Ireland Baldwin, shouted out her mom, Kim Basinger, and partner musician RAC’s parents for helping out amid the recent birth of their daughter – but seemingly made no mention of her dad.
On May 18, Baldwin shared that they had welcomed her first daughter, named Holland, to the world.
“My recovery has been so smooth,” the 27-year-old wrote, in part, in an emotional Instagram post about giving birth and being a mom. “I’m up an on my feet enjoying this weather and my time with family at home.”
“I couldn’t be more grateful for my partner’s parents and my mom who visited.”
The Post reached out to reps for both Alec and Ireland Baldwin for further comment.
In the post, Baldwin also wrote about her experience with pregnancy and suffering from health anxiety, sharing a message for new moms.
“As someone who suffers tremendously from health anxiety, pregnancy shifted everything into overdrive,” she typed. “Every thought in my head pertained to hurting the baby. Hurting myself. Blame game. I’m doing it all wrong.”
However, when baby Holland arrived, she wrote, all of her worries seemed to melt away.
“When she was born, all of this dissolved into nothingness,” she wrote. “Nothing ever mattered until that moment.”
Baldwin’s post comes just a few weeks after Baldwin himself forgot to mention his eldest daughter in a heartfelt tribute to his eight kids – seven of which he shares with wife, Hilaria Baldwin.
On May 4, he posted a slideshow featuring each of their seven children – Carmen, 9, Rafael, 7, Leonardo, 6, Romeo, 4, Eduardo, 2, Lucia, 2, and Ilaria, 7 months, but noticeably left out a picture of Ireland, whom he shares with his ex-wife, actress Kim Basinger.
Baldwin, who recently resumed filming on the set of “Rust,” wrote in the caption, “Seven reasons to carry on during some tough times. I’m not gonna lie, without my family, I don’t know what my life would be.”
“We forgot Billy Preston!” he joked in the caption. This one, the first one, is about to make me a grandfather. Oy.”
In December 2022, Baldwin announced that she was pregnant and expecting a child with her boyfriend, RAC, whose birth name is André Allen Anjos.
They revealed the news via Instagram, where she posted a picture of a sonogram.
Just two months before she gave birth, Ireland threw a strip–club-themed baby shower, with only Basinger in attendance out of her two parents.
Basinger and Baldwin married in 1992 and divorced in 2002.
In the past, Basinger has spoken about her relationship with Baldwin, claiming during an April 2022 episode of the now-defunct Facebook Watch’s “Red Table Talk” that he wasn’t always “emotionally and mentally available” to talk about serious issues with their daughter.
“You know we’re all fine, we all get along, whatever,” Basinger said during the episode, as they talked about her experience with mental health. “But he’s a challenge. We’ve had our challenges.”
She continued, “I don’t think Alec was emotionally or mentally available for that kind of talk. Alec, you know, operates in a very different way in his life.”
Last month, the criminal charges of involuntary manslaughter against Alec Baldwin were dropped after the fatal shooting of 42-year-old cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in October 2021 on the New Mexico set of “Rust.”
While they were filming, a prop gun he was using for the scene unexpectedly fired a real bullet.
