Night Court is back on NBC and it’s a hit once again. The series debuted to major ratings and solid reviews. The series stars Big Bang Theory alum Melissa Rauch as Abby Stone, the daughter of Harry Anderson’s character in the original Night Court. In the new season, Abby takes over her dad’s old position as the judge of New York City’s night court — and, as we’ve seen so far, things are just as weird in 2023 as they were in the ’80s.
By Rauch’s side is John Larroquette, who reprises his role as pompous lawyer Dan Fielding. The reboot finds him older and even kind of wiser — and now he’s a defense attorney instead of a prosecutor. There’s been another shift from the Dan Fielding we remember from the original series: this Dan is a widower and far removed from the ladies’ man seen in the initial run. Yes! Night Court has another brand new episode for viewers tonight, and it’s titled “Dan v. Dating.” The episode airs on NBC at 8 p.m. ET. The synopsis for “Dan v. Dating” reads:
01/31/2023 (08:00PM – 08:30PM) (Tuesday) : With Abby’s encouragement, Dan attempts to get venture back into the dating world, but reigniting his love life proves more complicated than he anticipated. Gurgs and Olivia search for a new office and find something they weren’t expecting.

So far NBC has revealed the titles of the first six episodes of the Night Court reboot. That’s as much as we know about the length of Season 1 for now.

Following tonight’s brand new episode, Night Court will return with another new ep next week on Tuesday, February 7. That episode is titled “The Apartment,” and its synopsis reads:
