Jack Dorsey tweets 'end the CCP' on China's 'zero COVID' measures

Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey responded to reports that Beijing continued to embrace strict policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. And blamed the Chinese Community Party over the weekend.

Dorsey tweeted in response to a June 2 report from CNN's Serena One, which introduced the inside of China's "Zero COVID" strategy in Beijing. Dorsey's tweet came during a period of heightened tensions between the United States and China over Beijing's fighting stance against Taiwan.

China recently conductedmilitary exercises, including a simulated attack on Taiwan, after Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi visited the island last week. Pelosi was the top US official who visited Taiwan in decades.

The United States has warned China to take military action against democratically governed island nations that the Chinese government considers to be part of its territory.
