Jason Kokurak went off course after a tragic shot swirling with rumors of LIV golf

As more and more golfers take part in Saudi-sponsored LIV tours, Jason Koklak may have followed in a strange way.

Kokurak started on Friday at the 9th hole on the TPC River Highlands and at the end of the day found a rough on a 327-yard drive. With four events and one event on the day, the 33rd-ranked golfer in the world had already seen the possibility of the cut disappearing after double bogey in the previous hole.

Kokurak had 43 yards left to the hole and sent a shot over the green and the road behind it. ShotLink recorded it as "87 yards to the unknown world".

Kokurak will have to take drops and penalties to finish the hole. The golfer looked closely and packed the bag and left the event. After that, he was disqualified because he couldn't finish the hole and didn't submit the signed scorecard.

Some speculate that he drove immediately to join the LIV tour after the blunder.

Kokurak was sponsored by Golf Saudi and played in Saudi Arabia in February. These connections have made him a rumored LIV candidate since the tour began last month. Kokurak admitted that he was talking to them during LIV's childhood, andhe wanted to "make as much money as possible in the shortest possible time."

Kokurak has won three titles on the 10-year PGA Tour and has earned more than $ 20 million. If he joins the LIV, he will be suspended from the PGA indefinitely.

William McGart, who played for Kokurak's group on Friday, didn't know on theaction networkthat the ball was out of bounds, and the group behind him was already waiting on the fairway. He said he was. Kokurak decided to reduce his loss and go home.

Sobel added that the exit was "not a bit off the PGA Tour life." Kokurak must sign on to LIV for the Portland event by June 30th. Otherwise, fans will probably meet him on the John Deere Classic on the PGA Tour starting the same day.
