Jenna Bush Hager is baring it all on The Today Show. The co-anchor revealed her packing list for a three-day trip on yesterday’s episode, and was sure to mention one item not going into her suitcase: underwear.
Hager dropped the TMI detail while chatting with Hoda Kotb about her upcoming travels to Quebec City, noting that she likes to keep her bags light and is a “medium packer.”
Kotb, who is also embarking on the Canadian trip, replied, “Okay, let me ask you this: we’re going to be there for three days. How many pairs of underwear do you pack?” per Page Six.
Hager told her co-host, “Zero.”
Kotb had to get up from the table she was seated at with Hager after hearing her response. When she finished laughing and collected herself, she admitted she “forgot” that Hager prefers to go commando, adding, “I think you can tell a lot about a person when you ask them how many pairs of underwear do you pack for a three-day trip.”
She then shared her own packing list, which includes more than enough underwear — including an extra pair.
Hager quipped, “Just in case you have an accident? Just in case you have a little accident?”
While Hager’s confession may have raises some eyebrows yesterday, Today fans likely weren’t too shocked by her admission. Kotb previously revealed on live TV that Hager does not wear underwear, a fact she learned after sharing a dressing room with her co-anchor.
Kotb told viewers in November 2022 that she was “surprised” to discover Hager’s habit, but the anchor pushed back, claiming the no-underwear look “makes a more pretty silhouette.”
Hager has also been exposed by her daughter, who appeared on Today with Hoda & Jenna in December 2022 to drop her own truth bomb. While stopping by the show, nine-year-old Mila told Kotb that her mom “never wears underwear,” before adding, “She’s not wearing it right now! I saw her change.”
