Jessie James Decker reveals Eric’s ‘spicy’ reaction to her ‘DWTS’ body paint

Jessie James Decker’s husband, Eric Decker, was a big fan of her sexy Bond Girl look for Monday’s “Dancing With the Stars.”

The country music singer was covered head-to-toe in gold body paint for the James Bond-themed episode and received a raving review from her retired NFL star husband.

“He’s known about this surprise. Oh, for sure,” Jessie, 34, exclusively told Page Six in the ballroom. “I was FaceTiming him [earlier]. He was so excited about it.”

The “Should Have Known Better” singer added that Eric, 35, was “ecstatic” for fans to see the surprise look during “Bond Night,” which he described as “spicy.”

“He was like, ‘Wear it home!’” Jessie recalled, laughing. “I’m like, ‘No! I need this off of me!’”

Jessie’s look was inspired by actress Shirley Eaton’s iconic gold-painted body — created at the time by makeup artist Paul Rabiger — for the 1964 Bond film “Goldfinger” starring Sean Connery. The fashion designer told us it was a real commitment on show day, for both herself and the “DWTS” hair and makeup team.

“It took a few hours, to be honest. Like, I didn’t get to watch any of the other performances,” she explained, noting that it took three people to execute it perfectly.

The Kittenish founder’s pro partner, Alan Bersten, also weighed in, telling Page Six, “What they did was very special, actually. She walked down and — if you noticed — she wasn’t golden at the beginning. During the live show, they were painting her [backstage].”

Bersten, 28, added, “They wanted it to be a nice little surprise, and I think it worked.”

While Eric was hoping to see the look in person, Jessie admitted that she couldn’t wait to start the process of showering — so she could be fresh-faced for her red-eye flight from Los Angeles to Nashville later that night.

“I am looking forward to washing this off,” she said. “It’s a paint, but it’s also, like, a seal. I don’t know how to describe it. But they had to literally take out all the moisture in my skin so it would stick, and so, I feel like my skin is dehydrated.”

The unique getup was created for Jessie and Bersten’s rumba to “Goldfinger” by Shirley Bassey, for which they received a total score of 26/40 from judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli.

“I think Jessie did so well,” Bersten raved. “I truly believe this was her best dance.”

During last week’s Elvis Presley-themed episode of “DWTS,” Eric was in the audience with their 4-year-old son, Forrest, who was adorably dressed as the King of Rock ’n’ Roll.

“He was just proud. I mean, he’s 4, so he’s little, but he’s just proud of mommy,” Jessie told Page Six via Zoom after the show. “And he’s such a big Elvis fan, so tonight meant so much to him.”

Jessie and Eric tied the knot in June 2013. In addition to Forrest, the “Eric & Jessie: Game On” alums are also parents to daughter Vivianne, 8, and son Eric Decker II, 7.

“Dancing With the Stars” returns next Monday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT for “Disney+ Night.”
