Jon and Kate Gosselin’s daughter Mady slams bullies: ‘Choose to be kind’

Stop the Jon & Kate plus hate.

Jon and Kate Gosselin’s daughter Mady slammed internet trolls for bullying her and her family members – and is now asking them to show her “kindness.”

“This is the singular time I’m going to address this because it is sending me over the edge,” the reality star, 22, said in a new video posted to her TikTok on Saturday.

The ”Kate Plus 8” alum added, “As is the case with every other person in the entire world, it is not anybody else’s business what they are dealing with behind closed doors if they don’t want it to be your business.”

Mady said that perpetuating the narrative that she and her siblings are “damaged” or “crazy child stars” could prove to be extremely harmful to their futures.

“There seems to be a public consensus that if you’re in the public eye, your entire life belongs to the public, and that is, in no way, true,” she said.

Mady went on to share that her siblings are doing “so well” despite what rumors may be floating around online.

“They are all amazing people. They are all smart, they are all kind, they’re driven students, they’re working hard, they’re funny, they’re stylish,” she said.

Mady furthered that the public isn’t “entitled” to knowing about their personal lives.

“What I share on social media is my choice and you are not entitled to anything more than that,” she said. “I’m sorry if that’s hard to hear but that is a boundary I have set for myself and for what I share on here about my family and if you can’t respect it, then unfollow me or I’ll block you.”

Mady also said that the internet shouldn’t be a “free-for-all” where people can just bully anyone they want.

“Decorum and kindness should still exist in comment sections and you shouldn’t say things that you wouldn’t say right to my face,” she said, adding, “You should choose to be kind to people and respect their privacy on the internet.

Mady also shared in the caption of her post that she has been “getting hate mail” since she was 6 years old.

The reality TV star appeared in TLC’s “Jon & Kate Plus 8” series – along with her parents and seven siblings – from 2007 to 2009. After her parents divorced in 2009, she then starred in the renamed “Kate Plus 8” series from 2010 to 2016.

Jon and Kate share Mady and her twin sister, 22-year-old Nicole, as well as their 18-year-old sextuplets: Collin, Hannah Joy, Aeden Jonathan, Joel Kevin, Alexis Faith and Leah Hope.

It’s unclear what Mady and her siblings were being bullied about but their family has faced plenty of drama over the years.

Collin came forward last November, claiming he didn’t have a relationship with his mom. He also alleged that he hasn’t talked to his siblings in years and accused his dad of abuse, which Jon has denied.

Meanwhile, Jon has accused Kate of “alienating” him from their kids while Kate claimed Jon owes her child support. She previously alleged he’s been “violent” and “abusive,” which he also vehemently denied.
