Before July 4, Fox News Joey Jones reminds Americans to look beyond the "fringe problem" and celebrate a common heritage. On Saturday's "Fox&Friends Weekend," Jones said the solution to the decline in patriotism was for Americans to stand together and "pride on the country's amazing history and trajectory." Insisted.
Before July 4, America answers: Are you proud to be an American?
JOEY JONES: Listen and be as wise as possible. You have a group of progressives on the left, and their nationalist ideas, their American ideas are rooted in dissatisfaction. And you have a conservative group on the right, and their ideas are rooted in responsibility. And neither of those groups is currently running. If you are progressive, you see the prosperity of this country, and you go, "Yes, that's just because we are oppressed. What is the result of prosperity? Thousands of oppression or centuries of oppression. If you are on the right, you will go, "Man, you are attacking everything that makes us prosper." These two groupsare now incredibly unhappy. The problem is that there are far more than these two in this country.

If you are conservative and looking at me as a company – corporate media and companies awaken The CRTs we're incorporating and all of them, you think, are becoming mainstream. That's what most Americans think, because that's why we see it every day. It will be disappointing. On the left, looking at thesethree major Supreme Court decisions, we attack what the country should be. So I'm wise about it now. So both sides are depressed about these fringe issues that do not define us at all.

But do you know what the solution is? People like us come to West Point, a living, breathing museum commemorating what it takes to tell the right story, fight for their freedom, and get them. People like us sit here and boast of the amazing history of this countryand its trajectory. There is no other place in the world where we can sit down and have this conversation and say whatever we want to say about our leadership. There is no other place in the world where you can go out in November and change it as much as possible.
