"If I did something like this, it would mean that I had stabbed my fist in the pain of a black American in this country for over 400 years ... That means I stabbed my fist. I'm afraid of the LGBTQ community around the world. I'm not that mother --- eh- never before, you don't have to. " Smoret insisted.

The actor was released from prison for six days after being appealed by Smollett's lawyer.

In a new interview, Smollett continued to point out that he did not want to have a "rise" in his career at any point in the suspicion of an attack.
