Kanye West unloads on Josh Kushner over investment in Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS

Kanye West unloaded on Josh Kushner over his investments in Kim Kardashian’s underwear line in a bizarre social media rant on Thursday — and tacked on a jab at his brother Jared.

“F—K JOSH KUSHNER,” West wrote in an Instagram post that racked up more than 100,000 likes.

Kushner’s firm, Thrive Capital, invested in Kardashian’s SKIMS during multiple fundraising rounds starting in 2020, prior to Kardashian and West’s nasty break-up

West appeared to interpret Thrive’s investments in SKIMS as an attack on the rapper’s since-failed marriage.

He asked Kushner to imagine if West had invested in an underwear line created by Kushner’s supermodel wife, Karlie Kloss.

“WHAT IF I HAD 10% OF KARLIE KLOSS UNDERWEAR LINE WITHOUT YOU KNOWING,” West wrote in an Instagram post. “AND YOU ONLY HAD 5%.”

While the exact stake Thrive owns in SKIMS is unclear, Kushner’s firm most recently participated in a January 2022 fundraising round that valued the company at $3.2 billion, according to Reuters. West also reportedly owns a stake in SKIMS.

A spokesperson for Thrive Capital declined to comment. The venture capital firm has also invested in Instagram, Robinhood and Slack — and ex-Disney CEO Bob Iger joined the company as a venture partner in September.

Following his attacks on Josh Kusnher, West tore into his brother, former Trump administration senior advisor Jared Kushner.

“JARED WAS HOLDING TRUMP BACK,” West wrote.

The rapper also added an apparent reference to Jared Kushner’s wife, Ivanka Trump, writing: “IVANKA IS FIRE.”

It’s unclear what led to the falling-out between West and Jared Kushner, who were spotted dining together as recently as January. In 2020, Kushner told Fox News that “Kanye has been a friend for 10 years.”

West has been on an Instagram tear in recent weeks, using the app to attack Kardashian, Adidas and Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessey chief Bernard Arnault

The rapper and designer also stoked controversy by sending models down the runway wearing “WHITE LIVES MATTER” shirts during a surprise Paris fashion week show.
