Kentucky authorities ready to begin the first phase of the Ohio River Bridge project

Kentucky is ready to begin full-scale construction in the first phase of the planned Ohio River Bridge, which connects western Kentucky with Indiana.

Governor Andy Beshear attended a groundbreaking event on Wednesday at the intersection of the Interstate 69 Ohio River in Henderson. This project is one of Kentucky's top transportation priorities.

"Our investment in roads and bridges is essential and this project will bring more jobs to the region," the governor said.
