Leslie Grace shares footage, behind-the-scenes snaps from axed ‘Batgirl’ movie

DC fans are finally getting a glimpse at the scrapped “Batgirl” movie.

Leslie Grace shared a slew of behind-the-scenes clips from the canceled film on TikTok on Sunday, including her training and transformation.

The “In the Heights” star, 27, posted a montage from her time on set as singer Omar Apollo’s song “Evergreen” played in the background.

Shots included Grace training for her fight scenes, getting her makeup done, wearing her superhero costume and filming green screen scenes. One snippet of the video also shows actual footage from a camera.

“I couldn’t resist,” she captioned her 15-second snap.

“You deserved sm better, I have no doubt you absolutely did Babs justice <3,” a fan wrote.

Another chimed in: “YOU DESERVED SOOO MUCH MORE I HOPE TO SEE YOU IN FUTURE DC PROJECTS OR EVEN MARVEL!”

“Manifesting that you get your shot again. I was so sad to hear the news,” someone added.

A fan lamented: “Was so excited for this movie, I’m so sorry how this all went down.”

The movie was set to star Grace as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, as well as Brendan Fraser, Michael Keaton and J.J. Simmons.

The cast was allegedly “humiliated” at the cancellation and they weren’t informed of the $190 million film being scrapped before the reports hit the newsstands.

Grace spoke out about the doomed project on Aug. 3, sharing a drawing of herself as the hero and other shots from the movie on Instagram.

In a passionate caption, she scribed: “On the heels of the recent news about our movie ‘Batgirl,’ I am proud of the love, hard work and intention all of our incredible cast and tireless crew put into this film over 7 months in Scotland.”

“I feel blessed to have worked among absolute greats and forged relationships for a lifetime in the process! To every Batgirl fan, THANK YOU for the love and belief, allowing me to take on the cape and become, as Babs said best, ‘my own damn hero!’
#Batgirl for life!,” she wrote.

“Batgirl” directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah revealed last month that they have no footage of the movie and the studio blocked their access to the production servers.

However, members of the cast and crew were treated to a “funeral screening” of the movie on the Warner Bros. Studio in late August before it got locked away in a studio vault forever.
