Anamaria Goltes is “so happy” for boyfriend Luka Doncic after his latest NBA milestone.
Taking to her Instagram Stories early Wednesday, hours after the Mavericks got their first win of the Western Conference Finals, Goltes congratulated Doncic on being named to the All-NBA First Team.
“So happy for you @lukadoncic,” Goltes gushed, adding a trio of red heart emojis beside a post originally shared by the Mavericks.
Doncic, 23, joins the Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic, the Suns’ Devin Booker, and Jayson Tatum of the Celtics as members of this year’s All-NBA First Team. This is Doncic’s third All-NBA First-Team selection.
Doncic had much to celebrate as he and the Mavericks avoided being swept by the Warriors in Game 4 on Tuesday, defeating Golden State, 119-109. The Dallas guard had 30 points and 14 rebounds, even with a 16-minute rain delay that put the game on a brief pause.
“Just got to finish the game. A win is a win,” Doncic said.
The series returns to San Francisco on Thursday for Game 5, with the Warriors one win away from the Finals.
Although it’s unclear if Goltes was in attendance for Tuesday’s victory at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, she has been supporting the Mavericks throughout their playoff push.
Last week, Goltes — who has been dating Doncic for years — posted a photo of herself rocking a white Dallas T-shirt that featured her beau’s number, 77. After captioning the selfie with a blue heart, Doncic responded with a red one.
The couple originally crossed paths during their childhood, with Goltes detailing their history in a 2020 Instagram Q&A.
“I answered this question like a million times. We met when we were 12 years old at the seaside in Croatia,” she said at the time.
