A man was shot and killed near the Hollywood Walk of Fame

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a man was shot deadnear the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday night. 

The shooting happened around 7 pm. Local time at the intersection of Argyle Avenue and Selma Avenue. This is just one block from the famous and historicHollywood Walk of Fame – popular busy tourist destination.

Police say victims and archers were involved in the conflict. The suspect fired multiple times, butit is unknown how many times the victim was shot.

Police said the victim tried to escape the attacker and crashed the car into another car a short distance away.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, as of early Thursday morning, they were still suspected. He shot and killed a man just one block from the Hollywood Walk of Fame looking for a suspect. (Fox 11 Los Angeles)

So far, no arrests have been made. Police say the last time the shooterwas seen driving a white Mercedes Benz on Selma Avenue.
