Masked white supremacist march through Boston draws criticism

Dozens of white supremacists marched on the streets of Boston on Saturday.

The man with the police shield and flag was part of the Patriot Front of a white supremacist group.CBS Boston Report. At one point, they took the subway at a downtown station. The

march elicited the accusations of Boston Mayor Michelle Wu.

"To the white supremacists who ran through downtown today: when we march, we don't hide our faces," Wu tweeted. "Your hatred is as timid as disgusting, and it goes against everything Boston represents."

There were no words of arrest.

Last month, a group of 31 men believed to be Patriot front membersnear the pride event. Arrested in Kodarlane, Idaho. The man was found in a U-hole truck containing a shield and at least one fuming grenade. Police believe they were planning a riot.

The Southern Poverty Law Center describes the Patriot Front as a "white supremacist hatred group."
