Minnesota has won four straight in this series by an average of 12 points, and I would expect a wider margin here.

The early competition hasn’t been the stiffest for P.J. Fleck’s squad, but it’s hard not to like what we’ve seen on both sides of the ball. Tanner Morgan (886 yards, seven TDs) has completed 77.2 percent of his passes with just one interception, while workhorse back Mohamed Ibrahim ranks second in the country in rushing yards (567) and touchdowns (eight). And the defense has allowed 24 total points and held each of its four opponents to its season low in scoring, an impressive feat regardless of the competition.

I wouldn’t hold out hope for this Purdue offense. Aidan O’Connell (333.3 yards per game) missed last week with an undisclosed injury and is questionable for this one, so even if he plays, he likely won’t be 100 percent in what’s shaping up to be a blowout.
