Model Allison Bowles and former MLB star Adini Hechavarria call off engagement

Model Allison Bowles and former MLB player Adini Hechavarria are going their separate ways after five years together.

The long-time couple, who got engaged in 2019 after dating for two years, have broken up TMZ Sports reported on Tuesday.Bowles told the outlet to see each other in their respective careers.

"We have nothing but love and respect for each other. I wish him all the best in his future career," she said in a statement.

Former Mets and Yankees shortstop Hechavarria currently plays for the Chiba Lotte Marines in Japan. Due to restrictions abroad due to COVID-19, he and Bowles (who runs his lifestyle siteWanderInHeels.com) haven't seen each other for the last nine months. Last November, they finally met again in the Maldives.

"Together again ❤️ 9 months apart is too long!" Bowles wrote on Instagram at the time .

Bowles, featured in Maxim, Forbes and Allure,attended last month's Miami Swim Weekand most recently New York swim event. As teased on her Instagram profile, she will soon be walking New York Fashion Week.

In addition to the Braves, Adeiny Hechavarría has also played for the Yankees and Mets, among other MLB teams.

Hechavarría made his MLB debut in 2012 and won the Blues. I have played for many different teams including the Jays, Marlins, Rays and Pirates. His final stint in the league was with the Braves before signing with the Chiba Lotte Marines in late 2020.

"I haven't seen him actually play since the 2019 Braves playoffs. I think I saw him one game in 2020 spring training."Bowles he told The Post at the end of 2021.

"It's really sad, especially since his career won't last forever. I want to be a part of that, but COVID has prevented me from doing that." 87}

Bowles did not immediately respond to the Post's request for comment.
