Protesters asked attendees to buy an abortion drug for donation to the abortion advocates and for distribution to others.

Opponents of the abortion right were also in front of the Supreme Court Building in Washington, DC. After the decision was made, a man standing in a placard containing the messages "Roe is dead" and "I am post-Roe generation" sprayed champagne in the air over others celebrating. There were dozens of abortion opponents on the scene in the afternoon, but they seemed to have been removed from the crowd by the evening.

In Atlanta, hundreds of people from two different demonstrations met and gathered in front of the Capitol. Almost everyone was protesting the decision. CNN's crew saw one opposition activist who started the march a few miles away.

In Texas, a large crowd gathered in front of a federal court in downtown Austin. People talked with a microphone, but there was a lot of fear and frustration. There were several signs, including one that said, "Pro life is a lie and we can die."

In Washington, DC, an abortion rights activist climbed to the top of the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge and was subsequently closed. Guido Reichstadter posted his videos and photos on social media from the top of the bridge and spread a large green banner. Green is recognized as a symbol of the right to abortion.

Reichstadter also erected a flag on the bridge stating "Don't step on the womb."

He tells CNN that many people in the United States are against the Supreme Court's decision, but their support is mostly passive, giving women access to abortion nationwide. Said not enough.
