Nets resigns Kessler Edwards to achieve a two-year contract

Las Vegas — Nets resigned Kessler Edwards on Wednesday afternoon with a multi-year contract.

Edwardswill play in the Las Vegas Summer LeagueNets and will open at 7 pm against Milwaukee Bucks. Friday.

Nets has made Edwards a restricted free agent by extending a qualified offer. They temporarily withdrew the offer and temporarily made him an unlimited free agent, but he never stopped working to find a deal.

Currently, the 6'8 Wing is back in Brooklyn with a two-year contract, and Hoops Hype reports that it holds the team option for 2023-24.

Edwards won the 44th overall victory last year, surpassing the draft position as a rookie. He made 48 appearances, including 23 starts, showing his expectations as a 3D wing. The

Pepperdine product averaged 5.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 41/35/84 shoot splits in 20.6 minutes.
