New homeowners find filthy underwear, poop in toilet and dirty dishes

Home sweet home?

When this couple snagged their picture-perfect first home, they turned the key to find that the previous owner had left a mountain of unwashed dishes in the kitchen sink, dirty underwear on the floor next to a poop-filled toilet in the bathroom and a gigantic picture of a family vacation plastered on the wall.

“[This is] just what we dreamed of on our first day in our new house,” UK-based homeowner Alicia Mia sarcastically penned in the caption of her trending TikTok house tour.

In the footage, which fetched over 1.7 million views, she and her partner Paige sardonically gave online audiences a glimpse at the “cute” surprises they encountered on move-in day.

“His washing up,“ Alicia wrote in the closed-caption of the chaotic clip as she zoomed in on the pile of dirty plates and cups that were left behind by the former tenants.

“A bed furnished with suitcases and his entire wardrobe,” she continued, panning over to a room with heaps of clothes strewn across the bed and the floor.

But the pièce de résistance of the home from hell came in the form of an enormous wall mural featuring a smiling family foursome.

The creepy, supersized snapshot sent social media spectators into a tickled tizzy.

“The wall [photo] had me crying, imagine just keeping it hahaha,” joked a commentator.

“Keep the mural. Make it a comical shrine to confuse new guests,” said another.

Digital viewers got a kick out of the larger-than-life family snap that previous owner failed to remove from a wall in the home.

“The big photo of the fam has to stay I’m sorry,” another teased.

Elsewhere in the viral video, Alicia showcased the ex-owner’s mound of used undies, a toilet “complete with turd” and a “death trap” of an outdoor trampoline.

She closed the post, writing, “Actually, just all his belongings that we had to help him move out,” with a cheeky smiley face.

In her comments section, Alicia went on to provide additional content for confused viewers, saying: “Would just like to say we bought the house from a LIVE man who has had weeks to pack and move and this was AFTER we completed :).”

She added, “Also, he’s been a really nice guy and we literally helped him move his stuff with him but the mucky [underwear] tipped me over edge.”
