North Carolina legislator wants help naming this K9 puppy

Dog lovers! The North Carolina Sheriff's Department has asked the public for help in naming her adorable new K-9 puppy. Now known only as "Puppy Doe". 

"Fluffy" and "Sir Sitsalot" have not been executed, but the Union County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday that after spending a "significant amount" of time and effort, what I posted that I need suggestions on what to do. What is the name of my 11 week old German Shepherd?

The unnamed puppy was found in a service dog family, including its mother. I'm from It was an explosive detection K-9. 

He enjoys long walks in the park, rolling in the grass and tearing up new tennis balls. The only feature that stands out? He prefers to throw his toys well rather than badly.

"Your guess is [as good as ours is on this one," joked the MP. 

In less than two days, the Facebook post received over 4,000 comments. Suggested names range from donuts because "he likes to roll and is sweet" to law enforcement-inspired terms like "Balor," "Surge," and "Radar." 

The Sheriff's Department said it will continue to solicit names in the comments section of the Facebook post until 8 a.m. Friday. Then make a list of his five most popular names and ask the community to vote for the names.
