Bodycam footage shows the moment two New York State troopers rescued a teenage driver from a burning vehicle.

The hero officers, Michael Winkelman and James Flynn-Kocourek were on Middlebush Road in Wappinger when they heard a crash around 3:26 a.m., state police said.

Winkelman and Flynn-Kocourek sprung into action, motoring to State Route 9D, where they found a 2007 Honda Odyssey crashed into a barn and in flames, Fox News reported. The blaze quickly spread from the van to the barn.

Winkelman and Flynn-Kocourek first tried to extinguish the fire, but then pivoted to get the unresponsive 17-year-old driver to safety, state police said.

In the bodycam video, one of the troopers can be seen removing the teen from of the Honda through the passenger side window and away from danger.

The driver was transported to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries in the Sept. 22 incident — and was later arrested for driving while intoxicated, Fox News reported.

“As the video shows, their decisive actions likely prevented a tragedy,” the New York State Police said on social media.
